Being mermaids at heart, we absolutely love to find any excuse to head to our nearest beach. We are lucky enough to be within one hour from Camber Sands in East Sussex, which is one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in the UK (in our humble opinion, of course!) Camber Sands is just that, miles of beautiful sand dunes and a perfectly flat beach below, it has that seaside vibe without being too crowded, in fact it is usually the opposite and is rarely busy, except on the sunniest of British Summer days perhaps.
Our long hair is something we’ve never quite known what to do with in the past when it comes to being by the beach and inevitably going in the sea (shallow waters at Camber are highly recommended). Do you tie it up, or have it loose, and what happens when it gets sea water in it? There are no hairdryers at the beach either, so our hair ends up somewhere between straight and curly, but not necessarily in a good / chic / desirable way thats for sure.
UNTIL…. this product deserves a drumroll so you can imagine it through your screen… the new Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray came in to our lives and all of our beach hair prayers were answered in one bottle, who knew it was that easy? This product is a salty spritz that you spray all over your hair and the result is beachy waves that look like they are supposed to be there, but in a natural way, which is kinda what we were looking for all along.
We took our Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray to the beach with us having washed our hair in the morning and letting it dry naturally. Before we used the Surf Spray, we sprayed it when wet with the Bumble and Bumble Bb Prep Primer, aka the most amaxing light detangling mist spray (pictured below) which leaves your hair silky and tangle free.

We then worked a 10p sized amount of Bb Don’t Blow It into our hair, which as the name suggests is ideal for those days when you don’t want to blowdry your hair. (Product pictured below).

Finally we sprayed our hair with the Bb Surf Spray before heading down to the beach with it in hand to use after we had been in the water too.
