It’s the season for summer parties, weddings, the races, BBQs etc. We all have various occasions that are coming up and want to find an outfit that is a bit different and that we feel amazing in. We have actually done an IGTV featuring 12 amazing occasion wear outfits if you wanted to have a look at that. However, this post is about those brands that we feel you should know about when searching for a new occasionwear outfit. We feel that these 4 brands are all incredible designers that are a fantastic quality and offer something a little different so that you are unlikely to be wearing the same as someone else.

First up is Ghost. I can’t even remember the amount of times we have worn a Ghost dress for an event… summer wedding, Christmas Party, Fashion Week to name a few. They combine current trends and patterns with classic shapes and have a real mix of designs so the likelihood is there will be something for everyone. The price point of these dresses is amazing given the quality and the fact you will be keeping it in your wardrobe forever.

Next up is Lily and Lionel. Olivia actually stumbled upon this brand whilst in a boutique looking for a dress to wear to a wedding and fell in love with a gorgeous understated Zebra dress. Again it was amazing quality and they have a chic feel to them without being too plain. On the whole the dresses have a relaxed feel to them but they are still smart enough for a more ‘dressy’ occasion.

AFRM is a brand that is actually based on LA but we found through Instagram (the joys of social media!) as we thought that the styling was incredible. They have a whole range of styles and patterns available which means there is more of a selection when choosing what style best suits you. The shade of blue in the dress below is possibly our favourite and we have worn it a few times already!

The 4th brand we feel you must know about is Olivia Rubin. This has always been a brand that we have admired however their SS19 collection has really blown it out of the water. The pastel rainbows and sequins are utterly exquisite and between you and us we have seen some of the AW19 things and they are just as fantastic.
