We have been loving top handle mini bags recently and have found them amazing for styling outfits

The leaves are officially on the floor and we want to wrap ourselves up in all the cosyness. Even more so than other Aumtum/Winters when we’ve all been banging on about ‘autumnal shades’ 2019 is all about the brown. Chloe is a prime example of a brand who has killed the head to toe brown looks in making them look like they belong on every stylish woman. We wanted to pop a few tips down of how we would style brown so that you can still feel great and not bland and boring.

70’s Cord

Introducing an element of brown cord in to your outfit is a super simple way to rock the brown trend whilst ticking off the 70’s trend at the same time. Cord looks classic and you can either go full cord power suit or stick with just one item such as a skirt or shirt. We have always been huge fans of introducing various textures and this is one way of doing it!

50 Shades of Brown

Don’t hold back in mixing the amount of shades of brown you wear in one look. Just like the different textures the varying shades can help a look feel more multi dimensional and it’ll all tone in to look super chic. How about a rich chocolate brown midi skirt with a more of a rust brown over sized knit? Also don’t forget the less obvious shades of brown like those that are going towards the orange or red end of the spectrum like the shirts we are wearing in these pictures. These tones are beautiful at this time of year.

Popping Shoes

Pairing your brown look with a statement pair of shoes is a great idea. We particularly love these gorgeous red rouched boots that Olivia is wearing. We would also recommend going for anything snakeprint like these mustard mules Alice is wearing. In addition, if you know us you know we love a white cowboy boot which if we didn’t already think go with everything we would definitely think would go with a brown look! Many of the fashion week street style looks saw fashionistas wearing a bright pink or green shoe with their brown looks and if thats not your thing you can’t go wrong with a chinky trainer can you?

Prints are everywhere right now with of course animal print being the number one trend of the season. We are in love with anything that is a slightly different take on the trend such as these shirts we are wearing and think that having a snake shade of brown is gorgeous! In addition of course the IT bag of the season has been the Fendi Zucca print bag. This New Look bag we have is an AMAZING alternative with a bold brown print.
