It’s time to apologise to all of our parents for the times we told them not to wear that pair of chunky sandals on holiday and particularly NOT with socks as let’s face it, we are totally in to them now! The chunky sandal is more on trend that ever right now as the need for heels and going out is no longer and we are all wanting something comfy to wear to pop to the shops or for a socially distanced drink. Cult brands such as Chanel and The Row kicked off the need for this shoe, but with them selling out fast and being at the more pricey end, we have put together a few options for you that we love just as much.
First up we have to mention the gorgeous brand Arizona Love. We have had our eye on this brand for a while and just couldn’t decide which style from them we loved the most. With quite a few being sold out we managed to find the style that we loved most in our size on Farfetch and Coltorti but they also have a few colour ways on NetAPorter. They are extremely comfortable and we would highly recommend them.
Dune have some great options when it comes to chunky sandals in a variety of styles so you are bound to find a pair you love. Dune are also a lovely quality at an affordable price point.
If you are wanting a true true dupe to either the Chanel sandals, The Row sandals or Bottega flats it is definitely worth checking out Ducie London. We have not tired a pair ourselves yet but after looking online at their options we are very keen to try a pair!
We have a couple of pairs of River Island sandals we have worn a lot as they are super comfortable and go with literally everything! If you are looking for a pair at the cheaper end, River Island is a great option.
