Festival Styles for All Wardrobes

Ever felt like you’d love to go to more festivals than you do, promise yourself you’ll go, and then don’t because you’re just not sure what to wear? With an increase in day festivals and with lots more new niche festivals popping up in the UK, Europe and beyond, there seems to be a festival for every type of music and fashion style ever invented. To honour this movement because we love both, we have put together some looks that reflect the varying different styles that seem to crop up again and again each year at festivals, with a 2018 twist. Theres a style to suit every festival goer from Western to Indie, we’ve got your outfit sorted!

LOOK 1 – Boho Dreamer

Theres definitely a vibe going on at many festivals for that daisy chain, wavy hair, carefree hippie look and we love it. Whether its Secret Garden Party, Coachella or Glastonbury (maybe we shouldn’t mention Glasto this year for fear of tears) this look is a definite festival staple and even if its not your regular street style, its the perfect opportunity to dress as a wild and free flower fairy, dancing until dawn with nothing to hold you back.

Our looks for the Boho Princess theme are these pretty floral dresses from Miss Selfridge, we just love the pastel pinks and yellows and at an affordable price point you cant go wrong with these easy to wear pieces:

Pink and yellow floral tunic (worn as a dress)

LOOK 2 – Disco Dancer

For those that want to keep their look in line with trend led pieces, these polka dot and striped themed looks are simple but fun and super easy to dance in! The finishing touch to add a festival twist to those monochrome tones? We went for Festival Face face gems and Alice added hair buns for a fun element to her dress.

Black denim shorts (similar)

Polka dot sundress

Festival face face gems

LOOK 3 – Wild Wild Western

Whether you are a Stagecoach Country Music Festival fan or simply want to dress accordingly, western is one of this seasons hottest vibes for that desert chic meets low key cowgirl look. We have been ogling over cowboy boots since the beginning of the year and when we found the vintage pair pictured on Liv below, we snapped them up… quite possibly the best £12 we have ever spent. When it comes to western, its all about the correct accessories, we chose a western hat and bandana to compliment the cowboy boots and easy breezy good quality cotton/linen dress fabric.

LOOK 4 – Festival Funk

This is the look for the all-out-festival-fan who isn’t afraid to let her hair down with her pals every weekend of the summer! We love to dress for the occasion and we would totally wear this to Lovebox, All Points East, Rise or V Fest! Chunky boots are an essential for those festivals where you’re going to be walking, dancing and jumping, and the same principle applies to your bag, a belt bag or rucksack leaves you hands free to put your hands in the air like you just don’t care.
