When it gets to this time of year I think an ankle boot is everyone’s go to shoe. It can be smart, casual, worn with tights, jeans day or night. Now, I don’t want you to think we have been lazy by not venturing any further than the Topshop website but we have to say that Topshop are absolutely KILLING the boot game right now. When scrolling through a website, it is often that you only spot one stand out item, but right now we are wanting so so many pairs of boots on the Topshop website there was no need to look further. They have also got a great selection, covering all the top trends right now and the prices are not extortionate like if you were to buy a designer pair.
WESTEREN
If you know us well you know that we have been HUGE fans of the western boot trend ever since we found an old vintage white pair for £12 that we purchased for Coachella at the beginning of the year. We also have this first pair and have had so much wear out of them, we can’t see us getting over this trend anytime soon. HIKING BOOT
Now this is one that took us a little longer to jump on but we can now safely say that we are in to it. We saw during fashion week a few of our fave girls pairing them with midi skirts and dresses and looking fab mixing the utility feel with a feminine touch. We have also worn our own hiking style boots with checked suits which we loved and the whole look made us feel great! They are of course also very comfortable and practical which is an added bonus! I also must mention how much we love wearing this style boot with a light wash pair of jeans tucked in and an oversized teddy jacket with beanie.
