INDEPENDENT BRANDS WE LOVED AT PFW

Having just arrived back from Paris for Fashion Week we are feeling inspired by some of the beautiful clothing we have seen. We found so many AMAZING brands that we did not know enough about before and are now lusting over. I think sometimes with you can get stuck in a rut or phase of wearing the same brand ,which is not necessarily a bad thing, but it is so exciting to find new brands that can get you feeling inspired again. We love supporting independent designers and seeing the skill and creativity that has gone in to designing the clothing.

Some of our favourite independent brands at the moment:

MIAOU

We fell in love with every piece they had on show at the Galerie Christophe Gaillard Showroom in Paris but in particular some insane snake print patent macs they having coming out for Autumn Winter! We loved the patterns, various styles and the high quality of all the pieces. If you follow us on Instagram you may have seen our love for colour, tartan and flares and this brand has those all wrapped in to one!

Tata Naka

If you don’t already follow these guys on Instagram already go and look at their page right now and stare in awe at all that colour! Their collections are honestly so breathtaking we could cry. Ok maybe crying is a little dramatic but just go and take a look for yourself! They had some beautiful dresses with incredible detailing and embroidery but also some amazing velvet tailored pieces in block colours. The brand was also started by a talented twin duo which obviously gives it double the appeal 😉

Jessica K

This was a brand that we spotted whilst in a pop up at the brunch spot Liza, full of exclusively Lebanese brands.  The clothing was elegant, chic and feminine which we loved. Again like the other brands mentioned so far there were a lot of bold colours and fun pattens. Also the earrings! Just trust us that you will need the earrings.

Jessica Russell Flint

Another Jessica but a British one this time. We have known of this brand for a while for their hand painted accessories. However, they have recently launched a ready to wear collection and oh my gosh it is STUNNING! There is a whole range of dresses, tops and trousers in a huge variety of colours, prints and designs in a beautiful silk material. We were lucky enough to wear a couple of pieces in Paris and felt the most chic we have ever felt. Many of the prints on the items are similar meaning that many of them can me mixed and matched as you desire, which of course when it comes to mixing and matching, yes we do desire to do so.
