ITEMS THAT LOOK DESIGNER BUT CAN BE FOUND ON THE HIGH STREET

Sometimes you ask a friend where they got something from and they reply with ‘a little vintage shop on my trip to X’ and our faces drop. There are however those other rare occasions when we ask someone for the info on the clothing they are wearing and they reveal they found it in one of our well known and much loved high street shops.

Below are a few items that a people have asked us about and have been surprised to hear they are from the high street. We have linked them all incase you wanted to bag yourself something designer looking without the price tag.

1. Gold Heels

There were a really similar pair to these on Net A Porter that we had our eye on until we saw these in River Island and felt we needed them immediately! We have since worn them with almost every dress we own!

2. Blue Dress

H&M often pull it out the bag with items and this is one of them. The quality and weight of the material makes us feel like we are wearing a designer dress.

3. Black Boots

Isabel Marant is that you? These leather River Island boots resemble those of the well known designer pair but again can be picked up for a fraction of the price on the high street.

4. Jumpsuit

How gorgeous is this jumpsuit! We are really feeling a lot of the French Connection clothing recently and this one is also super flattering.

5. White Jacket

Ok so technically this one is not high street but I did want to just slip it in to this post as I was stopped and asked if it was The Kooples because it looked such fantastic quality. It is from Nasty Gal and can currently be purchased for £42…I will leave it there 🙂
