PASTEL PIECES TO PAIR TOGETHER!

Pinch punch first of the month! Where has this year gone? I know the weather can be temperamental here in the UK but surely June is an official summer month meaning that we are fully immersed in our summer wardrobes by now?

As with most summers, the pastel tones are back in and we are currently wanting every ice cream shade (and every ice cream) of clothing. Pale pink, green and blue are a given but we are also particularly love lilac and lemon right now! We are great fans of a power suit and so many high street stores are doing them in pastel shades right now. We love the power and edge a suit gives but the way a pastel tone can make it feel so light and feminine. Perfect for a summer occasion where you wanna feel Girlboss!

Here are some of our favourite Ice Cream Suits:

Pistachio Suit from Topshop – Double breasted jacket with tortoise shell buttons and cropped leg trousers.

Pale Pink Suit from Zara – Double breasted jacket with white buttons and wide flared trousers.

Pale Blue and White Stripe Suit from Mango– Double breasted jacket with white buttons and slim fit trousers.

Lilac Suit from Topshop– Double breasted jacket with white buttons and cropped trousers.

Lemon Suit from Miss Selfridge– Double breasted jacket with tortoise shell buttons and lemon suit shorts with tortoise shell button detail.

In addition to dressing in a full pastel suit we have been loving mixing the pastel shades like in these photos. I’ve honestly never felt so fab as wearing lilac and lemon together. A lady even stopped me on the street to say how lovely it was seeing ‘someone dress in happy colours’ which made me smile. Also Olivia’s pastel rainbow swirl of heaven is actually a top and skirt ( so more occasions to wear it!) AND is from M&S! Just ADORE it!

Here are some pastel pieces to pair together:

Pastel Rainbow Satin Midi Skirt from M&S

Pastel Rainbow Satin Wrap Top from M&S

Lilac Trousers from ZARA

Yellow Twist Front Bardot Top from Miss Selfridge

Pastel Stripe Short Sleeve Shirt from Topshop

Yellow Linen Paper Bag Shorts from Topshop

Let us know if you are on board with this trend and if you have any far pastel pieces that you have been pairing together.
