SHOP OUR LONDON FASHION WEEK OUTFITS!

We have had such a fun London Fashion Week, one of our favourites yet! From being part of the “LFW Dressing Sweet,” attending shows, filming a video for a brand, consuming too many Snog Frozen Yogurts, filming for our new Youtube Channel and heading to some of the parties, we are well and truly fashion-weeked-out!

Some of you wanted more info on the outfits we wore across the 8 days that we were in Central London for events, so without further ado, we have picked some of our favourites to show you. Sidenote, we started our Fashion Week on the Tuesday, the actual London Fashion Week started on the Friday, but we had some events before and after, explaining why we have so many outfits.

Day 1

We went matchy-matchy to head to the Gola Classics Bloggers Breakfast at the beautiful Clerkenwell Grind, in these fun jumpsuits from Lasula Boutique in burgundy and black. To make it a little more season appropriate, we added the sweaters, which are from Alma-De-Ace, we love this brand and their collection really is just super cool, fresh, and most importantly very comfy. Liv is wearing a beret from our new collection for Amelia Jane London (launching imminently!), shades by Sorella Boutique and Alice is wearing bag by Koko Kouture, shades by Ray Ban, boots Gucci:

Day 2

We headed to our LFW Dressing Sweet which was an event held for emerging designers and brands wanting to dress influencers for Fashion Week and beyond. We were there with our brand Amelia Jane London and we wanted to keep casual/cool for this day ahead of the busy week. Liv opted for mom jeans by Boohoo and a mustard top from Zara (which seems to have gone out of stock already, so we’ve linked a similar version from ASOS, with the beret she wore the day before (don’t panic, hair was washed in between!) Alice wore a vintage checked jacket, we love to mix vintage pieces with high street and designer, paired with jeans from Missy Empire, belt by Gucci. We were just about smart enough to pop in to our friend India’s boutique, Arty Farty Fashion Party in Soho for their LFW kick off party, its definitely worth a look if you are in Soho, and of course our brand and some other lovely designers  are stocked there too!

Day 3

Thursday evening we headed to a couple of LFW kick off parties, firstly the Never Fully Dressed pop-up launch in Shoreditch, and then the Wolf and Badger LFW party in Mayfair. We wanted to be a bit smarter for these, so Liv wore striped tunic and trousers from Zara and bag by Gucci. Alice wore mustard skirt from Zara, burgundy top from Zara (who doesn’t love Zara though eh?) bomber jacket with brocade sleeves by Amelia Jane London, and baker boy hat from ASOS!

Day 4

Friday was our first crazy day which included a shoot for our blog, a shoot for our brand, a stint in the designer show rooms with our friend Amy, a dinner with some blogger friends hosted by the lovely Trafalgar St James Hotel team, and finally the Wonderland party. During the first part of the day we wore a few outfits, as we were having our blog photos taken around and about the Strand area.

Our first outfits were the above LOTD suits, Alice is wearing suit by LOTD, tshirt from Next, shoes Zara, shades Topshop. Liv is wearing jacket and trousers by LOTD, tshirt also Next, and shades ASOS. We loved this look, thank you ton LOTD for the beautiful clothing, we really would recommend the quality of this gorgeous brands lovely pieces.

We also loved our Disney looks, we took inspiration from Gucci and went a little wacky as Mickey Mouse and Donald for these, but we loved the fun element to these looks! We haven’t linked these tops, but Alice’s teal Donald Duck jumper is from Primark, and Liv’s is from Zara, but it was this summer so its no longer in stores.

We loved this illustration of us, by @georgieraves, shop her illustrations on Etsy here: Georgie Ravenscroft Etsy.

We later changed into a mish-mash of yesterdays outfits for the evening, why, we don’t know, but we just wanted a refresh I guess! We headed to the Trafalgar Hotel for our amazing dinner, followed by the Wonderland Party!

Day 5

Saturday arrived, and we were spending the day shooting a video for brand Story of Lola, heading to The Blogger Programme Hangout, and then heading to a show with the lovely team from Story of Lola, thank you again for a great day and for our front row tickets, we had so much fun! We wore jackets by Story of Lola for the day and to the show and we got stopped so many times in Covent Garden about them! You can find Story of Lola at Topshop and on ASOS, and once the video launches, we will be sure to share it. Liv wore striped flared trousers from Zara with her jacket, and Alice wore black culottes from ASOS, we kept it simple enough as it was all about these fluffy faux fur jackets as the statement pieces! For the video, we also got to wear some of the brand’s other designs, pictured below:

Day 6

Sunday was so much fun, and we had a few shows and presentations to go to so we opted for a vaguely matchy ensemble! Liv wore a tartan strappy middy dress with lace hem from Zara, paired with the H&M jumper that we have since seen EVERYWHERE… with the slogan “Get Off My Back” on the back. Alice wore H&M red flared sleeve jumper which we are in love with, paired with H&M glitter side stripe leggings, white cross-body bag by Koko Couture, and Gucci boots.

Day 7

We wanted to be a bit smarter for this day as we were heading to the beautiful Waldorf Hilton for the Paul Costelloe show. We wore coats that we designed ourselves, which are a kind of teddy shearling coat and really warm and cosy! Liv’s coat was brown with white pockets and collar lapel, and she paired this with a white ASOS frill shirt, made a bit smarter with a burgundy velvet bow/scarf  from Zara around the neck, mustard skirt from Zara, and white boots with a gold heel from Next. Alice’s coat was black with animal print pockets, and she paired this with another similar ASOS frill shirt, this time with a black bow around the neck, and with a black leather skirt from Zara, and animal heeled ankle boots from Next.

Day 8

On Day 8, we were heading to the Alexander White shoes presentation (which was absolutely dreamy), followed by the Jigsaw event. For this, we outfits from the lovely team at Missy Empire! Liv wore mustard cropped sweater, mustard high waisted flares with a tie at the waist (we love these!) and black boots. She also popped one of our Amelia Jane London collars over the top for warmth, in teal, new for AW17, and some red Topshop shades. Alice wore Teal duster midi jacket from Missy Empire, with a mustard Zara t shirt top underneath, and black leather skirt again, from Zara. We had so many compliments on these outfits, thank you Missy Empire!!
